この料理はトウガラシの中にチーズなどの具を入れた料理です。本来、あまり辛くない 大きめのトウガラシを使いますが、日本ではなかなか手に入らないので、大きめのピー マンで作ることも出来ます。 本来ちょっとした辛味をつけるためなどにおまけとして使われている唐辛子を、メインの食材として使っているこの料理がとても興味深かったので、レシピを調べてみようと思いました。

CHILE RELLENO(トウガラシのチーズ詰め)

Prepare batter. For a simple batter, whip 3-6 egg whites until stiff. Slowly fold in yolks and a pinch of salt. Or use your favorite batter recipe.

 

6. Cook chiles One at a time, dip the stuffed chiles into the batter and then into the QD____. Cook until batter is a crisp golden brown. QD.
