Bishamonten is a guardian god of Buddhism, also known as Tamonten. He wears armor and a helmet, and has a houtou (treasure tower) in his left hand and a hoko (pike) in his right. He brings courage and a strong mind, and property for our lives. He is a god of treasure bringing both material and mental happiness.
