When I decided to keep a household expenses book, I thought that I would probably give up on it after a few days. Actually, I've managed to keep it up for three months, but it hasn't lead to me cutting my expenses. This is something which I am aiming for in the future and I would like to continue keeping it until I do.
It was not until I began living alone that I realized how much I relied on my mother. My hometown is a very quiet place in the southern part of Tochigi Prefecture. I lived there for nineteen years of my life, right up until I started university. During that timeC I took what my mother did for granted and I was very spoilt.

In this first year, although I have struggled hard with cooking, laundry and cleaning, I think that living alone is the best thing that I could have done for myself. Surely I've matured a little? If you get the chance, I recommend that you try living by yourselfD
