Japanese Page

In collecting data about Ennichi, we were profoundly impressed by the Japanese tradition. In spite of the changing culture and climate in this time of transition, the custom of enshrining and esteeming divinities hasn't
changed. No generation gap was found. Many people, irrespective of age or gender, still go to Ennichi and have a lot of fun.

Judging from the questionnaire, people enjoy eating and looking around at the street stalls as well as visiting the temple, and Ennichi is familiar to most people. The pleasant atmosphere may explain the lack of a generation
gap. It seems certain that in the future most people will continue to enshrine and esteem divinities, and Ennichi will go on living as a Japanese tradition.
