Kameido Tenjin Shrine was modeled after Kyushu Dazaifu Shrine, but I hadn't been there for a long time and felt the shrine and its grounds were too small. I think this is because it has been more than ten years since my last visit, and during that time I saw the gigantic temples in Kyoto and Nara, and felt it to be small in comparison. Anyway, the small size of Kameido Tenjin Shrine left a deep impression in my mind.

Kameido Tenjin Shrine is famous for its god of learning, so many people come to pray for help in passing entrance examinations.

Anyway, the season of entrance examinations will be here soon, and it might not be a badidea to go to Kameido Tenjin Shrine and pray for good luck.
